The Future Of Business Informatics: The conversation about cutting-edge technologies like blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) got me to thinking about how they may affect enterprises. It’s obvious that success in the future will depend on keeping up with these developments. I now have a strong foundation in business informatics thanks to this course, and I’m inspired to study more about this exciting profession. I have no doubt that these abilities will be extremely useful in my future profession!

Information Systems: The Business Foundation

I studied the many kinds of information systems used by organizations.  Management Information Systems (MIS), Decision Support Systems (DSS), and Transaction Processing Systems (TPS) gave me a clear knowledge of how information moves through an organization. The conversation about the significance of user interface design struck a chord with me since efficient access to and use of information depend on a user-friendly system. I’d want to know more about hacking and how it fits into ethics.

Diving into the Data Deluge: This lecture opened my eyes to the vast amount of data generated in today’s world. It’s overwhelming! But it’s exciting too. Business Informatics feels like the bridge between this data and actionable insights. I’m particularly interested in learning how data can be used to improve decision-making processes within organizations.

Innovation Mindset

This design thinking course has been a game-changer! I’ve learned so much about the human-centered approach to problem-solving. More importantly, I’ve developed an innovation mindset. I’m constantly looking for new ways to improve things, whether it’s at school, work, or even in my daily life. I can’t wait to apply these skills to real-world challenges and see what creative solutions I can come up with!

Moral Conundrums: Choosing the Right Path

Business ethics is a difficult but important subject. This week, we examined the moral conundrums that companies may encounter. It made clear how crucial it is to have a strong moral compass while managing sensitive material and resolving conflicts of interest. Acquiring knowledge about ethical decision-making frameworks and comprehending the ramifications of unethical actions are vital resources. Dedicated to building a solid ethical foundation for my career!
